[News] Blizzcon Gets Site Update

Earlier today, the EU Blizzcon site got an updated look! At the same time, the US Blizzcon site showed up with an error 404, stating that the site was not online. This could only mean that the same upgrade will soon be available to the US!

That's right, BlizzCon will be returning to the Anaheim Convention Center on Friday, October 21 through Saturday, October 22, and will feature an exciting mix of discussion panels, tournaments, hands-on gameplay, contests, and much more. In just a few hours TotalBiscuit will be recasting some matches from last weekend's NA vs EU tournament. The casting will begin at 20:00 CET (click to view in your time zone) on his channel. We know for sure he'll be recasting Mana vs QXC, but we're not sure what he'll cast beyond that. If you missed the rounds, this is a good time to catch up!

Due to an unforeseen personal event in SchickySC's personal life he will be unable to cast any games this weekend. Our hearts and prayers go out to him and his family. [News] Heart of the Swarm: Ending Cinematic Leaked?

*SPOILER ALERT*

Now, in the past day or so, the internet has been going crazy over a leaked early-stage cinematic of what is supposedly the end of Heart of the Swarm. The full story is over at Kotaku if you wanted to read and see the leaked footage. Now, don't get too excited because it could easily be a fake, and it could just as easily be changed due to this leaked footage. Many people are upset over this "twist," in the story. But be warned, watch at your own risk and come to your own conclusions.

But, even if this is real, there still seems to be an ace in the hole that can still be played as far as redemption of the story's plot. In all honesty, though, this could very well be a legitimate ending based on the current storyarchs that have started in Wings of Liberty.

Recently on the Starcraft 2 twitter reel, Blizzard announced the reveal of a "previously unreleased UNN report communications." Personally, I found the UNN reports between missions a nice bit of flare to the game that connected the player to the results of their actions within the campaign. Give these a look, they won't disappoint!
